Cyanotype frame | Clovers
Cyanotype frame | Clovers
Magnificent decorative wooden frame to hang or place containing a cyanotype on the theme of natural leaves.
The cyanotype is a printing technique invented in 1842: an artisanal work carried out on high quality bristol paper covered with a light-sensitive product.
The chosen patterns are exposed on this paper to the sunlight. Rinsed with clean water the process is stopped to bring out a vibrant Prussian blue print without any ink.
These frames and cyanotypes are made by hand, mounted in their natural wood frames with a copper signature. As each cyanotype is made manually, the shades of blue vary subtly and make the painting absolutely unique. The pieces are numbered.
